I really felt like drawing, yea that itching sensation in the fingertips that makes me want to drop everything despite me being already pretty behind things in general. I was really pleased with how it turned out, have I improved from taking Art Classes? I experimented with forshortening. I thought it turned out pretty nice.
I inked it as I normally did, and then finished it off with both color pencils and markers. Of which are both displayed. ... or maybe I might change my mind and only upload one, or scrap something...
All that aside, I must say I got loaks of inspiration from lots of people.
The kimono idea flowered (yes a pun) from the fact that both and were recently/ are in Japan, and I would love to get a kimono one day.
I'm actually working on another piece involving kimonos for my Art final.... which I have yet to start, but shall be uploaded... xD.
I like peonies, and they're pretty much the easy flower to draw when I'm lazy as such.
I have so much work to do, and yet I insist on wasting time.
if possible, this looks even better in color!! you did a great job with the shading and foreshortening! the peonies are really pretty too...did you draw them all by hand?

WOW, I LOVE RUKIA'S HAIR!!! Hehe, inspiration...am I possibly in the same country as...ehhh... anyway, omg, at the fireworks festival, there was someone dressed all gothic kimono-y. She had like a yukata that stopped at the knees, and she was wearing these big clunky black boots and black flowers in her hair and etc. It was pretty cool, actually. Anyway, this picture is so nice, and yes, you have improved (if possible) with art classes. Such pretty...hands...
